What Drift is

Drift is a sleep timer for iOS. It plays white noise and other sleep sounds on a timer, fading them out and pausing your audio when the timer ends.

Data stored on your device only

The following data never leaves your iPhone. It is stored locally using on-device storage and is never transmitted to us or any third party:

• Timer history: when a timed session ran, how long it lasted, and which sound was used
• Your selected sound and timer presets
• Settings: fade-out length, bedtime reminder time and toggle
• Onboarding answers (what you fall asleep to, your usual bedtime)

Deleting the app deletes this data.

Data we collect

Analytics (PostHog). We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app: screens viewed, buttons tapped, and timer events. This data is not linked to your identity. No name, email, or device identifier is attached.

Purchases (Superwall / Apple). When you subscribe to Drift Pro, Apple processes the payment. We receive subscription status (active, expired, trial) through Superwall to unlock Pro features. We do not see or store your payment details.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We require no account and no sign-in.
• We do not collect health data from Apple HealthKit.
• We do not access your microphone, location, or contacts.

Children

Drift is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
